Drawing Deathstroke in the 1990s

#toysrevilart: This was drawn as a submission to WIZARD magazine as a cover, that was never sent in.

I had done primarily black+white up til then, and I wasn't too confident of this attempt, back in what would more likely be the early-1990s (nearly 3 decades old OMG lol).

Done analog with markers and color-pencil (above pix on Instagram) over a zeroxed illo I completed in ink (see below), this was my "style" way back when too, which mirrored the exaggerated body proportions of Simon Bisley! LOL


This was unearthed thanks to featuring the new #Deathstroke animated movie on #POPCORNX for "Deathstroke Knights & Dragons: The Movie".
