Ten Things I Would Do If I Knew Tomorrow Was The End Of The World by TOYSREVIL
And so the world did not come to an end in 2011, and neither did we experience "rapture", but that did not stop me from listing (and doodling) "Ten Things I Would Do If I Knew Tomorrow Was The End Of The World", AND published in on TOYSREVIL, which I am now re-publishing here, because it was fun while it lasted … and as well the sketches were done not too long after I had suffered Stroke, which temporary paralyzed my drawing right hand - but I am doodling now, so it's all good :)
BTW: The doodles were actually done in the sketchbook gifted to me by mum, during my stay at the hospital :)
Things I Would Do If I Knew Tomorrow Was The End Of The World #10:
Type a emotionally-wrought 2-page long good-bye blog-post, then edit down to half-a-page (like I always do, if I don't edit myself, who will?) and add a personal snap to mark the humanity involved with the blog-post.
Things I Would Do If I Knew Tomorrow Was The End Of The World #9:
Finish and publish a series of long-outstanding blog-posts so I would not feel I have something that needs to be done than haunts me everyday. (Damn, this might not work as a day alone is never enough ;p)
Things I Would Do If I Knew Tomorrow Was The End Of The World #8:
"F**k Like Rabbits". Self-explanatory, methinks. Do not ask who, never ask "who". (Suggestion by Willem van Laak)
Things I Would Do If I Knew Tomorrow Was The End Of The World #7:
"Visit Old Friends". This might be a short trip, as I do not have that many a good'ol friends to visit. Having milk-tea at the neighborhood coffee-shop with mates would hit the spot. It always does. (Suggestion by Willem van Laak)
Things I Would Do If I Knew Tomorrow Was The End Of The World #6:
Surround myself with tasty treats, cakes and ice-cream. Ever since discovering I have mild-Diabetes post-Stroke - I had very much abstained and/or cut back on tasty-treats. If tomorrow ends, I be pigging out with a sugar-high! And pass me that durian too!
Things I Would Do If I Knew Tomorrow Was The End Of The World #5:
Burn All Unpaid Bills and Celebrate With A Party. Self-explanatory. "Party" not a necessity in this instance, frankly speaking. I've never been a huge fan of "parties" anyways ;p
Things I Would Do If I Knew Tomorrow Was The End Of The World #4:
Pack and send out all toys random packed to random people whose mailing address I have. I've always wanted to give away toys but never really could afford the postage, or letting go of toys.
Things I Would Do If I Knew Tomorrow Was The End Of The World #3:
Do some doodles or drawings. I love doodling but never seem to find enough time in a day to put pencil or pen to paper. Posted here shamelessly are some pen-sketches I posted on my Facebook a while back. Wish I could find my ink pen again tho …
Things I Would Do If I Knew Tomorrow Was The End Of The World #2:
Go out and spend all my money on comicbooks deprived me the past few years. Heck, comicbooks and tradpaperbacks I've always wanted!
Things I Would Do If I Knew Tomorrow Was The End Of The World #1:
Surround myself with my comics, read them and await the end (Together with my loved ones on the room of course - spending time with loved-ones is a given, hence not needing to be listed at all).
Comics to be re-read might include Planetary, The Authority. Need to re-fined Alien Legion and Atari Force tho… (The thinking of them while lying in acupuncture yesterday spurred the desire ;p)
